You can read the date (14th of june 1943) and the name of the priest (Pabang) and they are happy to show it to me and my grandchildren when we asked.

The Homestead - grandfathers hotel

This is the Homestead when Christian Andersen was direktör (manager?) there. It is a large hotel. Sometimes my mother Else said that "daddy" didn´t have a lot of time for the children.

...knycker jag en bild från Hans Tekes fina släktblogg. This is Helge. My mother Else must have loved him since I can feel love for him when I look at this picture. Helge is my mother Elses uncle and extra dad since her dad died when Else was 8. And Helge was married to Anna, my grandmother Gretas sister. Anna, the very much loved extra-mother to Gretas children. But Helge is also my father Folkes uncle since Folkes father Sven and Helge were brothers. Is this complicated? No.
